The acquisition of AMH2, which operates a 3-star, 148-room hotel in Les Houches (Chamonix Valley) under the Rocky Pop franchise brand, by Compagnie Immobilière et de Participations du Mont Blanc SAS (CIPMB), a subsidiary wholly owned by Compagnie du Mont Blanc SA, in partnership with Beyond Places Hotels Management (BPHM), is part of the Group’s strategy to expand its activities.
The Compagnie du Mont-Blanc Group aims to broaden its service offering in addition to its core business as a public service operator of ski lifts. Always attentive to better managing the visitor journey to enhance the experience and satisfaction of its clients across the tourist areas and sites it manages, the Group intends to strengthen its hotel and restaurant operations.
This strategic choice seeks to better control the customer experience while promoting the region and responding to new visitor expectations.
By developing its hotel and restaurant activities, the Group aims to:
Offer a more integrated and coherent tourism offering, encouraging longer stays and ski pass purchases,
Boost the Group’s hotel and restaurant offerings in its resorts,
Provide stable local financing for the acquisition and renovation of hotel and restaurant real estate assets,
Improve the quality of customer reception and services provided,
Support local dynamics (employment, attractiveness, mobility),
And contribute more effectively to its mission of preserving the territory’s habitability.
This acquisition continues the current management of the Rocky Pop franchise hotel, building on the expertise of the hotel’s existing teams.
