A wonderful experience, wonderful views. However, we were disappointed that the train to Montenvers and Mer de Glace was closed. This year we took the kids specifically to see the glacier up close, but that wasn't possible😞

The Mont Blanc experience was brilliant. I was surprised how much there was to explore up at the station with tunnels, telescopes and presentations to view. When booking the cable car trip we were encouraged to to book the ‘Glace ice train’ trip so we added this to our order. Unfortunately there was a strike taking place that day and we couldn’t take the train trip. We were rather disappointed the trip had been suggested when it could not take place. A lesson learned.
