Note that the multipass is also valid for the trip up to La Aguielle du Midi! We didn’t know, it was not clearly explained. and bought extra: what a waste of money. Just arrive very early, for the first few gondolas around 6 am, and there will (probably) be space. Of course, buying the extra trip gives you a guaranteed spot. But it should just be that, a small fee for a reservation, not an extra ticket.
