I have never been disappointed in the times I have been to Chamonix. There is something magical about this place that makes you always want to come back. There is something for everyone, whether you are a ski bum or more into the luxury lifestyle.
The fact that over 2 meters of snow would fall in a week is nothing any human can control and I am grateful that they dare to make the decision to close the area when they cannot guarantee safety.
