Dear customers and partners,
The engineering works currently taking place on the motor-cable of the "2nd stage Plan de l’Aiguille - Aiguille du Midi" cable car are going to require further complementary works. These works will push back the reopening of the lift system beyond the date originally announced.
The Aiguille du Midi cable car will now be closed until Friday 1st June inclusive.
During this time, the Chamonix - Planpraz cable car (Brévent) will be open every day, offering visitors the opportunity to appreciate panoramic views over the Mont Blanc range.
-First departure at 09:00
-Last departure from Chamonix at 16:00
-Last return to Planpraz at 16:30
The car park and bus stop for rapid drop-offs, situated at the cable car base station, are open.
The Planpraz cable car will now reopen for the summer season on the 16th June, instead of the 9th June, in order to carry out the necessary maintenance work originally scheduled for May.
