Chamonix Valley’s Ski Areas & Tourist Attractions
Taking into account the health situation linked to coronavirus (COVID-19), the Compagnie du Mont-Blanc (the company that manages the tourist attractions and ski areas in Chamonix) has put new “health & safety” visitor reception measures in place to satisfy the needs and expectations of its staff and visitors.
The Compagnie du Mont Blanc has also implemented special guarantees and adjusted its operation.
We currently foresee a normal opening of the winter season 2020-2021..

We understand that the COVID-19 pandemic has created an uncertain situation.
Therefore, so that you can feel at ease when purchasing your ski passes we have implemented special COVID-19 guarantees in our terms and conditions.
This winter :
Face masks will be mandatory while waiting in queue as well as, enclosed spaces, in gondolas, cable cars and trains. All contact areas will be disinfected regularly every day.
Special “health crisis” guarantees
Day or holiday pass
MONT-BLANC Unlimited, CHAMONIX Le Pass “4-hour to 21 consecutive days” :
In the event of a full closure of all of our tourist attractions & ski areas due to the health crisis :
1 Unused days on 4h to 21 consecutive days ski passes will be refunded* (calculation based on the scheduled and official closing date of the lifts).
2You can modify the validity dates of your 4h to 21 consecutive days MONT BLANC Unlimited or CHAMONIX Le Pass ski pass “without additional charges”. The new dates must be in the future. A simple request is needed.
The request must be done at least 2 days before the first day when the ski pass is valid*
Season & Annual pass

In the event of a full closure of all of our tourist attractions & ski areas due to the COVID-19 health crisis you have the right to compensation when the following conditions are met :
1 Fully aware of the present context & of possible travel restrictions between countries, La Compagnie du Mont-Blanc wishes to reassure its customers ! Any pass unused because of the COVID 19 crisis will be completely & totally refunded as long as the refund request is addressed to us before the 30th April 2021* (postponement of the date initially scheduled for 15.1.2021).
2 View the compensation for the Season and Annual passes CHAMONIX Le Pass and MONT BLANC Unlimited (are excluded: school passes, pro mountain passes and partner passes). Please note that processing times are extended due to a large number of requests. Thank you for your understanding.
